For the most part, this is fairly bog-standard, play-it-safe progressive. The sort you can DJ nice and easily, with mixes that last about three minutes, or until you fall asleep – whichever happens first.
Vaishiyas open up in a bouncey, fluid, and not-terribly-threatening manner. Sensifeel produces a pedestrian remix of Ace Ventura’s done-to-death Cardiac Arrest. Audiomatic vs Vaishiyas don’t go anywhere, while Audiomatics and Magnetrixx sound under-produced.
Only FM & Hamelin’s Who’s That and Sonnenvakuum’s Shame are worthy tracks; very underweight for an entire CD. A very limp collection, serving as further evidence that this progressive psy is on its way out.
It’s going to sound deathly, deathly bland in a year’s time.
