Lost Paradises

Good morning! Solid semi-progressive trance, sir? Tight melodies, madam? It’s all here and it’s all good, staggeringly good in places. Showcasing a less goforitmentalyeeah French sound, there’s bags of thought and attention put into this: from the moment those melodies fuse together and fuilter upwards in Thought Transfer, you know you’re in for a delight. Pegasus and Contact are anthems-in-waiting, the high-end flurries on Sunflowers betray a love of oldskool rave and The Path takes care of those with abent for the more spiritual, unfolding aspects to the scene. It doesn’t always work, with some of the tracks fading into nondescription (and one particularly badly placed james bond sample that personally gets my back up every time.) However, if the Middlesborough West Women’s Institute are still on at you to play that sunrise set and your case logic is looking decidedly anorexic, then look no further.
