From the moment the album starts you know its something special, the first track starts with dramatic strings and a slowly building groove. The album has a deep progressive feel to it, though unlike many progressive tracks which seem to go nowhere Neelix takes you on a journey with every tune. A slow dreamy addition of layers and looped samples which draw you in are defining features. Neelix is a new name to me, a few tracks have been released on compilations but this is his first album. It comes as quite a surprise as he has already developed a unique style, it's refreshing to hear a new artist with a whole new take on psy-trance. While there is a consistent feel to the album the tracks are never too samey and holds your attention from start to finish, from the floaty, spacey feel of "the answer" right through to the sinister and trippy "Serafin".  With a tough, fresh sound Neelix stands out from the crowd. It will be interesting to see were he goes from here. -Sketchy Steve-
