New Israeli act Viktan bring us some kickin party tunes with a funky twist, but with enough fullon basslines for the most avid of isratrance fans! The opener ‘Full Effect’ brings you up to speed quickly, lots of squelches and raunchy stabs, till a blistering lead line closes..’Virtual Mind’ follows up in a cool manner, its here that Viktan first show their penchant for different sounds – bells tinkle over a funky groove – twist it up – WE LOVE IT! ‘More Music’ starts with this hillarious cheesy bordello thing that gets busted up by the kind of bassline even i wouldn't take home to meet my mother.. ‘The Truth’ bounces along before the psy damage takes over.. hi nrg melodies and racing hi hats.. Next, ’Pump’ gives us lotsa jostling percussion and a seriously psychedelic acid line, Dr Nonono makes you laugh while jumping around like a lunatic and ‘Ama Zone’ is the kinda psychedelic madness u need at 3am, rolling basslines lead into a rocker-fella pstomp… yeehaa!! Finally the beautiful prog trancer ‘Far from over’ and the breakbeat tinged ‘Life Symphony’ and unfortunately it is over.. An awesome artist album with some great emotive content and boundless creativity...
