Eraser vs. Yojalka Round 1 Exogenic (Funland)

Fasten your seatbelts psy-girls and boys: it's the debut album that has been droolingly anticipating for what seems like ages! Finland in the form of Exogenic records has unleashed a blistering album from two artists whose meeting of minds has resulted in an explosion of the some of the most fun and exciting trance for ages :) Reunion opens and straight away lets you know what you are in for - ripping and bouncy and guarenteed to make you grin like a chimp who's worked out how to roll his own!! Ghost Train makes an appearance and is likely to scare some children with it's spooky melodies. A couple of deep sonic excursions follow which don't rely on a 4-4 kick, and Weekend Warrior provides a barrage of synth attacks which leads the way for a couple of tunes which are pure structured insanity extracted electronically from the neural pathways of the musicians! Running so fast at times they almost get away but the epic melodies and ranging synthesizers run tightly together. My only criticism is the slight immaturity to the production quality in places. Some tunes could be a bit fatter, and overall a bit more depth to the sound would be welcome - but having said that this will still knock the socks off anything else :)
