3.Turm Remixes Hadshot (Germany)

French nutters 3.Turn (read it ‘three point turn’) are back with a new album on the way, these three (or two on vinyl) remixes providing a taster. The Delta turn in a remix of Thriller, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Low-end crunch and harsh-ass beats are the order of the day, with a pounding filtered feedback kick bringing things along nicely, escalating into a migraine-inducing white knuckle knees-up. Authentik gives Paris Parano the once-over, and it’s a sort of gabba table-tennis thing. The style is chaotic and muddy and if that’s what you’re after, this should give you your fix nicely. The CD format also has Synchro’s mix of The Order of Things, which is a varied and innovative take. Seinfeld bass jostles with a rave madness kick, clattering percussion and plenty of panning on the incidental splurges.
