And on that criteria, I would have bought this, and been rather pleased at the results. Went Mental In Mexico is wicked, it’s got a percussive-organic feel with about three melodies rising and falling as the tune progresses, and one particular line is so otherworldly it has to be heard to be believed. Building into an elasticated trance stomper, this is a sure fire hit and destined to do big things on the dancefloor. Techila is (ahem) tecchier by comparison, and features a jaw-droppingly sweet melody halfway through, which opens up your mind before the beats and chugs take over to ram things home with style.
