S.U.N. Project - Spirit Zone

The Remixes

Here's another release that slid in under the PsyTranceReviews radar, but we found it under the sofa cushions and gave it a spin. I'm one of those often wary of the S.U.N.Project and their enthusiastic use of guitars. However a fair deal of work has gone into each track on this release by the very cream of the Spirit Zone stable, and it combines to create a very solid release. From the warm morning remix of Spaceships and Spacepeople by Boris Blenn to the dark, heavily psychedelic tech-trance remix of Frisco Machines by the Spirallianz duo, every track on this album is worth a listen, and while the tunes are varied, the quality is consistent, so there's something for everyone. Oh, and there aren't too many guitars, either. -Tom- 4
