As home to Son Kite, Ticon, Tegma and P-Woland Swedens Digital Structures are on good form at the moment. Nince tracks here, all displaying the nice balanced scando-sound thats firmly taken root in the global trance circuit. P-Woland starts things off with the understated ad fluid Secrets, and Son Kites atmospheric Air Play is a percussive, dreamy delight for the senses. Vibraspheres Out Of My System is a layered masterpiece, adding techno stabs to a chuggy, rolling bassline and layering textures aplenty over the top. Tegmas X-Calibur is a clubby, unnerving piece of futuretrance, and Bad Poets from the always-on-form 12 Moons is pure trance that sucks you deep into its delightfully twisted and hypnotic reality-tunnel. Top notch trance tucker though is Ticons Shaken Not Stored, a hypnotising groove-led tune with busy, flirtatious acid lines under gorgeous stabs, and a wonderfully-manipulated break that underlines just what this type of music is about smooth, balanced and textured melodies over effortless percussion, the overall effect of which is pure sonic bliss.
