Sometimes, an album just works. Theres something about this CD that tickles me its a totally fresh take on trance, and with a bonus chilled CD heres a lot o quality for your money. The trance-techno CD is a perfect and sublime fusion of techno and trance, with Earths Devotion layering detroit-esque stabs over a smooth percussive backbone, Box of Froxs Undertow providing a fresh and layered masterpiece with a wonderful breakdown, and Haldoliums prog rock operatic trancer One Of These Days providing some guitar-led trickery. Also worth a mention is Feuerhakes La Aurora, a perfect blend of melodies and twist with a midsection run thats simply worldclass, and Space Safaris perfect Be Alright, a gorgeous and dreamy melodic excursion that just begs to be turned up. With such a top blend of fresh trance, theres barely time to mention the deep grooves of CD2 lets just say that its the perfect downtempo accompaniment to one o the bravest and freshest trance CDs in a long while.
