Good old Transient. Always a favourite label among trance fans as a quick flick through their back catalogue will justify. There diversity over the last few years may not have been to everybodys taste, but their trademark progressive-psychedelic sound is always worth watching. Single Life collects ten of their top single releases from the last three years, and presented like this its an awesome and varied compilation. The more successful crossover tunes like Future Blue from Purple & Ronan, and the wonderful Subtle Thrust from Purple & Ronan sound every bit as good today as they did on their original release. Tinnitus mayhem fused Shapeshifter gives the nighttime vampires something to scream about, and Astral Projections Anything Is Possible keeps the melody-hungry goan nutters happy. Trademark Transient abounds with tracks from Matenda, 12 Moons and In.Sect, while Quirks Tribeadelic, MubmoJumbos Fishbone and Cosmosis & Shaktas Visitors add some funky werewolf twist. A good collection proving that Transient still lead the field.
